WIGGED CHAIR SEATS
We are passionate about preserving and renewing your designer chairs with respect for traditional Danish craftsmanship. With a deep understanding of the quality of the materials and the chair's original design, we weave new seats in paper yarn, sjener, French braid (machine felt) or straps. We can also transform hand-woven Thonet chairs with damage, into beautiful machine braid and a unique result.
At the same time, we renovate the chair's frame and we are aware of loose joints and damage and offer renovation of the chair's frame with an eye to maintaining patina and aesthetics through expert treatment.
We offer carpentry work to repair damage to the chairs in collaboration with our selected carpenters who are passionate about design and craftsmanship down to the smallest detail.
To make it easy for you, we offer pickup and delivery of your chairs. At DKA design, we strive to deliver a product that is both functional and a tribute to the Danish design tradition.

We had an older Wegner chair that had a broken backrest.
It was repaired in the best possible way, so you have to use a magnifying glass to see where the break was. In addition, we had a braid made, so we now have a practically brand new chair.
