Who we are and our values
Allan is the company's founder and is in charge of carrying out the weaving/crafts and is paired with Mitzi, who is responsible for preparation, customer contact, pickup and delivery.
We have been looking for a long time for a quality of rattan that beats everyone on the Danish market, and now have our own imports.
We know the industry and have chosen to use only exquisite high-quality products. That is why it is a pleasure to do assignments, as our customers' praise is truly the driving force in our company, and therefore we receive a wide range of the greatest classics from both Denmark and abroad, which we are experienced with.
At DKA Design you will find a down-to-earth spirit where you feel welcome and heard. We handle both large and small tasks. We collaborate with business customers, develop designs. We provide the same personal service to both private customers and individuals. For us, everything should be in order – that is the lifestyle we support.
We are located in beautiful premises in Kongens Lyngby, where good harmony reigns – a place where creativity and quality flourish.

Chair Weaving / DKA Design
Specializes in chair weaving and the repair of designer furniture, particularly well-known Danish classics such as Børge Mogensen's and Hans J. Wegner's chairs. Founded by Allan Christensen, the company focuses on preserving and continuing the traditional techniques of furniture weaving. DKA Design offers various weaving methods, including envelope weave, flat weave, and porch cane, which are essential for maintaining the authenticity and quality of classic designer furniture.
