BM1

BM1 can also be braided in envelope braid. This chair (and also Børge Mogensen's BM2) has some details in the sides that make it necessary to compensate for the angle, so here a braid pattern is first made in the edges, so that the angles are straight. After that, the rest of the envelope braid can be made. This braid pattern also helps to give the chair a completely unique expression. It is the same braiding system used on Kaare Klint's Church Chairs.
