Lacquering chairs provides a smooth, durable surface that can withstand daily use and cleaning. We work with matt, silk matt and glossy finishes – and also offer high gloss (gloss 90) for a mirror-like, exclusive look. High gloss is applied in controlled, thin layers in our spray booth with filtered air (pressure booth) and top-quality materials, which gives a finish with a deep gloss and uniform reflection. We lacquer in several thin layers so that the gloss and color are uniform on the seat, back and edges – also on curved surfaces. Before lacquering, we repair minor damage and unevenness and sand gently so that the chair's geometry is preserved.
If you want to upgrade an entire set or recreate the original look of classic designer chairs, we advise on color and gloss, so that the finish matches both use and interior. We love when customers dare to go their own way – for example, a red Y-chair, where a bold color choice gave a distinctive and personal expression (without high gloss). Painting chairs
Painting chairs is ideal when the color needs to be changed or uniform across an entire set. The surface is thoroughly prepared, after which we paint in controlled, thin layers for a nice and robust result that is easy to maintain. You can choose discreet shades or striking colors – we advise on gloss and everyday use, so that the solution is suitable for home or business.

Lacquering of 7's chair - lacquering of Arne Jacobsen chairs
When refinishing a 7's chair, the iconic, curved shape is preserved by sanding and refinishing in very thin layers. We color match existing shades or switch to a completely new look – and we can run multiple chairs in the same series, so the result is identical across the entire set. Send 2–3 photos (preferably of the seat, back and edges) along with the quantity, and we will provide a quick assessment and time frame.
Varnishing of Y-chair
Varnishing a Y-chair requires careful pre-treatment to preserve the profile and details. We can preserve the wood's structure with clear/tinted varnish or choose colored varnish for a more distinctive look. The surface is varnished in several thin layers for high wear resistance for everyday use. If minor damage needs to be patched or repaired at the same time, we coordinate the entire process. We also help with lacquering 7-seater chairs (without the apostrophe) - write and we will assess the condition and finish. If we produce several 7-seater chairs in the same batch, we ensure exactly the same color and shine on the entire set.
