A little about the man
Kaare Klint
Kaare Jensen Klint (1888 – 1954) was a Danish architect, furniture designer and visual artist, brother of Tage Klint.
Through his own furniture design and his teaching, he influenced an entire generation of Danish furniture designers. He placed emphasis on good materials and perfect craftsmanship. He therefore had a particularly close collaboration with Rud. Rasmussens Snedkeri, which still produces a large number of his furniture classics.
He was a student of his father, Grundtvig's Church architect PV Jensen Klint, and the architect Carl Petersen, from whom he learned the Danish tradition of classical realism, as seen in, for example, Abildgaard and Bindesbøll. In order to produce furniture in the right dimensions, Klint became interested in the measurements and movements of the human body. In 1923, Klint was employed at the Academy of Fine Arts at the School of Furniture Art, and in 1924 he became a docent and in 1944 a professor of architecture. ( Source )

ORIGINAL KAARE KLINT CHAIR WICKET
The father of modern design created timeless chair wicker
Kaare Klint was one of the very first furniture designers. Both Børge Mogensen and Hans Wegner were trained by him. One of his most famous designs is the Church Chair, and today his furniture is mostly seen in churches. It is not so often that you see his woven items in the interior of modern homes. The Church Chair is made with wicker . The backrest is carefully constructed, with four backrest leaves, which are shaped after the back, so you sit extremely well in it. It is characterized as a strong chair (like Børge Mogensen's Folkestol, J39 ) and it is available both with and without armrests.
For example, you can see the Church Chair in Grundtvig's Church in Copenhagen (which was designed and built by Kaare Klint and his father, PV Jensen Klint), where there are approximately 750 of them.
